Lauren's Apartment

On Monday, July 21st we went to see Lauren's apartment. It is a really nice apartment in a very safe neighborhood. It is only 4 minutes from her work at WBZ-4 News. We toured her city and took a duck tour which was lots of fun. Hailee had a great time. She was able to sit in the co-captain's chair in the front of the boat and navigate in the harbor. I really miss Lauren living at home, but I am so happy that she is so close to work and living in such a nice place.

Road trip in the planning.

Getting all our maps and tour books in order for our trip. Only 45 more days to go!!!!!! We got a bit of bad news today, we will be unable to take our van on the trip. Apparently, there is a problem with the transmission and our mechanic advises us to take the truck. Carl wanted to take the truck originally, but it only get 8 miles in the city and 13 miles to the highway. Oh my gosh, can you image the cost for the gas on a 2800 mile trip.
