Getting all our maps and tour books in order for our trip. Only 45 more days to go!!!!!! We got a bit of bad news today, we will be unable to take our van on the trip. Apparently, there is a problem with the transmission and our mechanic advises us to take the truck. Carl wanted to take the truck originally, but it only get 8 miles in the city and 13 miles to the highway. Oh my gosh, can you image the cost for the gas on a 2800 mile trip.About Me

Road trip in the planning.

Sorry to hear that the transmission is a problem at this time. Have you checked into a rental that might give you better mileage?
