MALL OF AMERICA 2010

Hi Everyone,
We are having a great time in Minnesota and Wisconsin. We had a very nice flight to Chicago on Saturday. After renting our car, we drove 8 hours through beautiful countryside in Wisconsin before arriving in Minnesota. We went to the Mall for 4 hours on Saturday night. It was over whelming!!! It's like the Grand Canyon, very hard to describe until you actually see it for yourself. I just took it all in with my mouth wide open!!! We went back on Sunday and spent another 8 hours. The Mall is gigantic. We again went back today (Monday) and spent another 1 1/2 hours. AND WE STILL DID NOT SEE IT ALL!!!!!! I never would have imagined Carl spending 14 hours at a mall in one weekend; but, he loved it. We said goodbye to Bonnie, Adam and Hailee and took off for our trip home. We stopped in Wisconsin Dells, WI to sleep overnight at the Holiday Inn Express. We had a great Italian dinner and a tour of the White House which was captured by Aliens and turned upside down. Very interesting. A mixture of a fun house and a haunted house. Now we are back in our room getting ready for bed. Tomorrow we will leave at 6:30 AM to drive 4 hours to Chicago Midway Airport and fly home. See you all very soon and thanks for coming with us on our trip. We love you all!!!!!

MALL OF AMERICA 2010

2010 USA ADVENTURES

Well, we are off to more adventures in the USA. We leave Saturday, July 17th for the Mall of America in Minneapolis, MN. This is part of my life's dream to travel to all 48 contingent states. After next weekend, my tally with be 29 states visited and 19 more to go!! If all goes well and God willing, we will leave on August 7th for a cross-country trip with Adam, Bonnie and Hailee. I will travel through Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota and Iowa. My tally after this adventure will be 37 visited and 11 more to go!!!!!!!!!!
Dust off your travel bags and say a little prayer that "all goes well". Happy trails to you and see you soon.
