I am the proud gramma of a beautiful 10-year- old girl named Hailee. Her Pappa and I started this site so she can follow us as we travel throughout different states on our vacations. Now that she is older and we are able to travel the country with her, this will be a site for all of our friends and family to join us on our adventures throughout the USA

DAYS 4,5,6,7, IDAHO

Hi Again,
We are in Idaho for the next three days. We slept at the border of Oregon and Idaho for our Monday stop. At 1:30 am we crossed over into Mountain Time Zone and it became 2:30 am. It was sad to lose an hour and know that we were on our way home. I can now say that I have officially been in all 4 time zones: Eastern, Pacific, Mountain and Central.

Tuesday we drove through Idaho stopping at Pocatello, ID for the next three nights. Idaho is also beautiful with rolling hills and lots of dairy cows and corn. We stopped at an amazing gorge. For dinner we went to Texas Roadhouse where Carl had his first steak since October 1st. (date that he went into the hospital).

Wednesday we, of course, went to Walmart. It's not a trip without Walmart! We had a delicious home-cooked meal in our hotel room. Bonnie did a great job cooking dinner. Went swimming and watched Flicker 2 movie.

Thursday we did a little site seeing. Wine stores, gift shops and a scrapbooking store. We enjoyed another home-cooked dinner by Bonnie. Went swimming, did some laundry and watched tv. It is now 11:00 pm and we are packing up before we turn in for bed. We have a 10 hour day of driving tomorrow through Utah, Colorado and stopping in Cheyanne, WY for the night. See you later.

Love, Pappa and Gramma

Why must we always do laundry when travelling?
Wish we could have disposable clothes, and have the money to buy a new wardrobe when we return home.Drive safely as you continue on this remarkable trip.
