I am the proud gramma of a beautiful 10-year- old girl named Hailee. Her Pappa and I started this site so she can follow us as we travel throughout different states on our vacations. Now that she is older and we are able to travel the country with her, this will be a site for all of our friends and family to join us on our adventures throughout the USA

DAY 2 KENTUCKY

We started our day by opening an envelope and note from Bonnie and Hailee. We would leave the kids envelopes with little gifts and notes to open everyday when we would go away on vacation. This would give them something to look forward to and not miss us so much. It's nice to see that Bonnie is carrying on the tradition. Thanks Bonnie, Hailee and Josh.

We headed to Kentucky and the weather was beautiful all day. Sunny and warm. We stopped at a vineyard for a wine tasting. At the vineyard, we came in contact with a beautiful yellow butterfly. (we have been surrounded by butterflies on this trip). The butterfly let us pick it up and hold it. It even stayed still so I could take it's picture. WEIRD!!!

We toured Louisville Slugger Museum and saw the monument of the two women who created the song "Happy Birthday to You". This song is copyright protected till 2030.

We ate dinner at the River Bend Winery and Bistro. Food was wonderful. Ending our day in a nice, comfortable, king size bed. Good Night
